Welcome...

to the Lincoln Middle School Library Media Center!  We're located on the main level of the school at 152 Jenckes Hill Road in Lincoln, Rhode Island.  The Library is open throughout the school year during school hours (7:50 am to 2:40 pm) and most Tuesdays after school (until 3:40 pm).

Students come to the Media Center with their teachers to work on projects that integrate information literacy (research skills) and content area knowledge.  Teachers also bring classes to
the library for book discussions, booktalks, and to learn more about our  online catalog - Destiny!

All members of the Lincoln Middle School community are encouraged to borrow books.  Students may choose up to three items (books or magazines) for four weeks.  Due dates are stamped in the back of every book or magazine so students know when material must be returned.  Books may be renewed for one extra loan period (four weeks), unless the book is on hold for another student.

Overdue notices are distributed weekly, as reminders, but no overdue fines are charged. Students with overdue books/magazines may not borrow books or magazines until they have returned their overdue material. Mrs. Ragno, our assistanct principal, is notified when books are four weeks or more past their due dates.  Any material that is lost or damaged beyond repair must be replaced.  Checks can be made out to Lincoln Middle School.

The computers in the Library Media Center are available to complete school projects.  All students must adhere to the Lincoln Middle School’s Internet Use Policy while using computers in the Media Center.
